Skee Mask Studio
When Skee moved his studio into a smaller space, it was clear that he needed efficient storage and a work surface that was customised for him. In the new studio, not only his large record collection but also many synthesisers and mixers had to find a place and also be flexibly usable.
To accomplish this task, a record shelf adapted to the room was designed, in which also a 19-inch rack was integrated. The shelf consists of powder-coated welded ladders which were combined with milled oak. The plug-in system ensures quick assembly and disassembly and can also be easily moved in its parts.
For the rest of the room, tables with linoleum surfaces were developed in an L-shape to make the best possible use of the space. The material and colour were adapted to the record shelf so that all the furniture in the room were unified. A Dj-desk, another 19-inch rack and a sliding shelf were also integrated into this workstation to ensure the best possible workflow.
